Non-NHS Services

Some services provided by our Practice are not covered under our contract with the NHS and therefore attract charges. Examples include the following:

  • non_nhs_services1Medicals for pre-employment, sports and driving requirements (HGV, PSV etc.)
  • Insurance claim forms
  • Prescriptions for taking medication abroad
  • Private sick notes
  • Travel Vaccination & certificates

The fees charged are based on the British Medical Association (BMA) suggested scales cash or cheque.

Once the form is received by us, our admin staff will get in touch with you to advise you of the charges and the time frame for completion. Doctors so these forms after NHS surgery hours, so please be advised these are dealt with routinely and will be completed within 28 days.
